Dr. Curtis Day
Dr. Day has been receiving chiropractic care since he was 12 years old and
knew chiropractic was to be his profession by the very early age of 16. He is
one of two Chiropractic Physicians in his family.
Dr. Day completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin at
Eau Claire and then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport,
Iowa, graduating in 1995. After graduation he opened a practice in Orland
Park, Illinois and then came to Andersonville to open Avalon Chiropractic
Clinic.
Dr. Day's personal philosophy includes the importance of patient education.
Dr. Day feels it is essential to educate a patient about his or her condition in
order to provide an understanding of what will be required to return to health.
Dr. Steven Hettinger
Dr. Hettinger originally hail from northwestern Iowa. He did his undergraduate
work at the University of Iowa. He attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in
Davenport, Iowa and received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from
Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Missouri. He is board-certified
an licensed in the state of Illinois as a Chiropractic Physician. Since
graduation he has had the opportunity to work in several clinics apprenticing
under the leaders of the Chiropractic profession. He is the member of several
chiropractic organizations and has done postgraduate study in spinal
biomechanics, sports injuries, headache elimination, spinal trauma, allergy
elimination and soft tissue injuries.
Dr. Hettinger is committed to finding and correcting the cause of his patients
symptoms and believes vehemently in the body's ability to heal itself.
